The Senior High Schools [SHS] Climate Change Debating Program is designed for Senior High Schools nationwide in Ghana. To unravels the complexities of climate change and environmental challenges, dissect its impact, and rally Ghana’s youth to prepare with the right knowledge to forge solutions that echoes through time.
DRNGHANA; initiators, recognizes the opportunity for Ghana’s youth to chart a new, more optimistic vision for climate actions and environmental protection towards resilience and sustainable development. Amongst these paths is to shifts dominant paradigms, connect schools, communities, citizens and national audiences, fundamentally through the parameters of a focused climate change and environmental debate. The SHS Climate Change Debate is aligned with global conventions; to achieve the UN-SDGs - United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4, 7, 11, 13, 17 and guiding principles of the UNFCCC - United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
