Deacons Of Hope

Deacons of Hope is a self-governing, autonomous, pro-life ministry group comprised of active, permanent deacons in the Catholic Church. While there are over 160 orders of priests and religious in the Church, this is the closest yet and the first of its kind for Permanent Deacons. Technically, Deacons of Hope is a Public Clerical Association of Christ's Faithful erected by Archbishop Joseph Naumann on September 14, 2022.

As a pro-life ministry, Deacons of Hope serves not only the unborn, but also the poor, the imprisoned, the marginalized, the oppressed, the sick, and the aged regardless of sex, race, nationality, or creed. If you're drawing a troubled breath, you are a point of light for Deacons of Hope.

Full membership in Deacons of Hope is limited to Roman Catholic men who have been ordained into the Permanent Diaconate. Others who feel a call to support and assist us in this ministry may become associates to the Deacons of Hope.
