I’m Akira Banerjee, a PhD researcher in the field of Psychology. On Brainpsycholopedia, I explore the science of cognition including decision-making, memory, learning and behavioural addictions such as gambling disorder. I also dive into how the science of psychology works (including research studies from the vault, how it operates etc.).
The videos are designed to tell a story that both informs and explains concepts, theories and ideas behind each topic, while connecting them to our everyday lives.
My background includes a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, with current research focused on risky decision-making.
