Here at “The Orthodox Landmarker”, our primary focus is Ecclesiology, that is, the study of the Christian Church. Most “Landmark” churches are unfamiliar with the actual views of Landmark Baptists. They have departed from the original teachings of the men who brought these reforms back in 1851 during the Cotton Grove Convention. In this Convention, the Old Landmarkers sought to bring Baptists back to the original New Testament teachings of the Church. Hence, our handle, “The Orthodox Landmarker”. In this examination, we seek to uncover some of the errors of the original Landmarkers in regards to the “Orthodox” faith “once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3) In addition to this we will examine a wide variety of topics as we seek after truth no matter where the truth shall lead us, understanding that “the truth shall set us free”.
