Georgia has been an epicenter for unconventional rap music since the 80’s, and this nonconforming attitude has guided this group from the beginning.
Born at the inception of Hip Hop, the influences of other Augusta natives such as James Brown and Pastor Troy can be heard in their eclectic musical offerings. Having been a part of the local music scene for the past few decades and performing with groups whose musical genres vary from conscious Hip Hop and trap to Indie Rock, Melodic Cacophony has endeared themselves amongst their peers.
