Vicharaka is IISc’s vibrant, student-led robotics club founded by the 2023 undergraduate cohort. Established in early 2024, it has grown from an informal group of enthusiasts into a structured community with its own robotics lab—the only one of its kind run entirely by students at IISc.

With a strong focus on hands-on learning and collaboration, Vicharaka empowers undergraduates to build cutting-edge robotics projects. Through workshops, talks, and mentorship from seniors, faculty, and industry experts, members explore everything from ROS and machine vision to embedded systems—learning by doing, teaching, and constantly iterating.
