Philippe Ourselin

Philippe Ourselin is a french organist born in 1983 in Coutances (Normandy). His studies began with Michel Bourcier at the Conservatoire de Rennes where he obtained a First Prize. He pursued with superior studies at the Conservatoire de Boulogne-Billancourt with Pierre Farago, where he also obtained a First Organ Prize with jury's unanimity and congratulations in 2007, and finally a National Superior Diploma in 2010 at the Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne-Billancourt.

He was organiste titulaire of the Cavaillé-Coll great organ at Notre-Dame-des-Champs in Paris from 2007 to 2024, where he succedeed Marie-Bernadette Dufourcet-Hakim. In 2020 he is appointed organiste de chœur titulaire at Saint Nicolas church, in Paris (5th district). Since January 2025 he is also organiste suppléant of the great organ at the same church. Since 2024 he is Honorary Member of the Association des Amis de Léonce de Saint-Martin.

He is professor at the Conservatoire in Longpont-sur-Orge (Essonne) since 2010.
