Sharing information from the DPRK and countering the regime-change narrative in favor of peace, reconciliation, and reunification of Korea. I'm an activist and friend of the DPRK living in the United States. I serve as Chair of the Paektu Solidarity Alliance, a minor online advocacy organization promoting news, culture, and various audiovisual content from the DPRK to introduce the country to English-speaking audiences around the globe that usually only hear hostile anti-DPRK propaganda which fosters misunderstanding and conflict between otherwise progressive peace-loving peoples. In September 2017 I joined the Korean Friendship Association, a cultural exchange organization, and I served as General Secretary of the KFA-USA branch from December 2017 to July 2020 before leaving the org to focus on my own independent efforts for education on the DPRK and building solidarity for their struggle against U.S. imperialism.
