Hereโs how it works:
โฌ๏ธ Offer a 3%+ Business Pricing or Quantity Discount
โฌ๏ธ A Business customer buys multiple units
โฌ๏ธ Amazon automatically lowers your per-unit FBA fulfillment fees
๐ Translation: youโre not only lowering prices for customers, youโre also paying less in fees.
Letโs look at a quick example:
โข Product price: $20
โข Business discount (5%): -$1 โ new price = $19
โข Order size: 3 units, Large Standard (~1 lb each)
โข Standard FBA fee: $5.50 per unit
โข Fee discount: -$1.40 per unit โ new fee = $4.10
Normally, giving 5% off would squeeze your margin. But here, the $1.40 fee reduction per unit more than makes up for the $1 discount.
