More Than Just A Seizure
Hi, I'm Ange. At 9 years old I suddenly started having seizures and I was diagnosed with epilepsy.
It turned my world upside down, changing the world I lived in, my perspectives, my family & friendships & made it a very lonely time.
Sadly, since then I gradually started to have more frequent & different types of seizures. Despite trying every AED for my epilepsy, specialists have been unable to control it so as a teenager I went on to be diagnosed as having drug resistant epilepsy.
This is a vlog for those who suffer with epilepsy, who would like to support someone with it or simply to get an insight into what life can be like living with it.
Although the condition can be challenging and upsetting, it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom!
Why not get an in depth insight of what challenges I face (more than just the seizures) by looking at occasional days, my own tips and advice & explore things with me that you might like to try yourself.
