Derek was raised in Temecula until 8th grade when he lost his father. After that loss, his family lost their home, cars, and small family business, leaving them homeless. His mother moved them to the High Desert to live with family while working 40 hours a week at a laundromat and another 40 hours at a local video store for years just to survive.
Derek was the new kid in high school, grieving his father and watching his mom struggle to pay the bills. He started working multiple jobs and has never stopped. Those hardships built the mental toughness that drives him today.
He continues to grow his investments and sales business while staying focused on PEOPLE FIRST.
