Finally finished my next video. This took a lot more time than I ever expected. The hardest part is keeping it to a reasonable time. It’s Cher, it could have been hours long, but I have kept it under 30 minutes, as hard as it was. Making this video also taught me how amazing Cher was and still is. She is an icon through and through no matter if it’s music, film, or fitness, the woman can do it all. I hope she is as inspiring to you as she is to me now after making this video. Tune in Friday at 8pm EST to watch!

Life After Losing
Finally my eyes are healed and I can see perfectly again. I may have had a hard time seeing the past few months, but I was still able to do some research and write. Editing any videos, was just impossible. But, I have 3 new Fitness Icon documentaries on the way! First up will be Cher, followed by Jack LaLalanne, and then Jennifer Lopez. I’m hoping to have Cher totally edited in about a week or so and the other 2 will come in July. I have more people that I want to work on as well, but haven’t decided on what order as of yet. Let me know if you have any requests! You can also watch my other Fitness Icon videos such as Richard Simmons, Suzanne Somers, Jane Fonda, and Susan Powter now!

Life After Losing
It’s been a long while since I made any new videos and I just wanted to let you know I will be back soon. I have been having difficulty seeing the last few months and was not sure why. Actually, I’ve noticed about a year ago but first thought I had dry eyes, allergies, or just tired.
Around the new year I decided to get my vision checked because things were getting worse. I could barely see anything at night because the glare and floaters were insane. I made an appointment and it was then cancelled due to the doctor being ill. Same day, of course after I took the day off work and I was in the doctors office. But anyway, I booked another appointment and because I also started a new job and waited a few weeks to make another appointment. In the meantime my vision is getting worse.
The last video I made was in January. It was so hard to write the script and even film it because the lights were blinding and I couldn’t see a thing. 😂 Let’s not even get into the editing process that took me weeks.
So, I finally get into the doctor at the end of March and was told that I have friggin cataracts. CATARACTS! At 46 years old! Because I am “young” (the doctor called me that 💅 ) the cataracts are growing pretty fast which is why my vision is getting worse so fast. I was relieved in a way, because I seriously thought I was going blind and my Susan Powter video was going to be my last hurrah. 😂 Yeah I was being very dramatic.
I have just 2 more weeks and I will have cataract surgery on the first eye, 2 weeks after that I get the second eye done. I am excited to be able to see again and to get back to making some content. Well, I am also excited to live life normally again. I realize how much I have taken eye sight for granted and how much I miss interacting with people. Oh, I have become a recluse because it’s so difficult to go anywhere other than work, which has also been horrible since I am trying to learn a new job, but I can’t read menus, can’t barely drive at night.
Uggh this has been very long winded, but I wanted to explain my long absence. Thanks to all who stuck around and the new people that have subscribed. Just a few more weeks I should be back and better than ever, and I have ideas for some new videos. I hope you all have been doing well the past few months.

Life After Losing
Another Monday. This time of the year makes me so stir crazy being stuck inside because it’s so cold outside. All I do to occupy my time in the winter is work and workout, so I’m down 25 pounds. The only silver lining, I guess.
