Until Women Are Equal is creating a new American tradition: public readings of the Women’s Declaration of Independence.
Beginning on July 4, 2026 — the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence — and continuing on Women’s Equality Day, Constitution Day, and beyond, people across the country will gather to read aloud a declaration affirming women as equal citizens under the law.
Through storytelling, constitutional education, symbols, and public action, we are helping build a culture where women are fully respected as equal human beings.
