We’re Liza and Alex—a Swiss couple, passionate travelers, and the team behind LAtravelFoxes. In June 2025, we bought a truck and a trailer in the USA and set off on the adventure of a lifetime across North America.

This journey brings spectacular views, interesting places, and friendly people—but it also comes with its fair share of mechanical issues, maintenance tasks, and problems that need solving. As we learn on the go how to tackle these challenges and fix the rig, we’re taking you along for the ride!

What’s happening now:
After our first 5-month trip and a winter detour around the world, Season 2 is officially underway! We are back on the road, but RV life means the DIY never truly stops. Expect to see the real, hands-on side of full-time travel—balancing beautiful outdoor adventures with the on-the-go upgrades and inevitable repairs required to keep our home rolling.
