Bold Existence Ministries

Welcome to BOLD EXISTENCE Ministries 😊

Here you will find words of prophecy/encouragement/teaching, released as led by the Holy Spirit. Some words are for specific groups of people, others are for general. As with any prophetic words you hear or receive no matter the source, always take it into your “prayer closet” or “secret place” (where you spend time with God) and ask the Holy Spirit for confirmation to see whether a word is applicable to you and your situation. God provides the prophetic anointing to encourage people, to build them up, to bring them comfort, to teach and train them, to bring words of warning and correction. All of it points to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

1 Corinthians 14:3-4 (NKJV) But he prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

Be blessed 😊

💖 This is a tender topic and may not be applicable to all - but it is a conversation we are having a lot so thought to bring some clarity.

🤔 Kingdom Spouse / Soul Mate - are these a biblical concept?

While the concept of a Kingdom marriage is found in scripture, that is to have a marriage that upholds the principles of God's kingdom. The idea of a "kingdom spouse" as it is so often used - Someone believes God told them a particular person is their husband or wife. ( Kingdom Spouse ). So, they received the word about their Kingdom Spouse, and they run with it. Yet the other person receives something very different and has no interest in that partnership. Yet the person who received what they think was a word from God keeps believing, praying and decreeing for the other to 'wake up', get the revelation and change their heart and mind. Often, they engage in spiritual warfare around this, believing that the other must not have heard right because of enemy interference - This not biblical but instead derived from new age constructs around Twin flame and soul mate, and similar ideology.

These are seated in spiritual mysticism that says that we as individuals have a counterpart on this earth who will complete us. It is the idea that there is only one other soul out there who completes us. That we cannot fulfil our destinies or achieve our purpose without our counterpart. We remain incomplete without their presence.

Soul Mate is founded in Greek mythology that says “humans were originally created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.” Whereas Twin flame is the idea that our souls were once one united entity and exist now as both male and female forces that are seeking each other to be reunited as one. It taps into areas of reincarnation and other mythologies. However nowhere in scripture does it indicate that God has set aside “One Perfect Person” to complete us.

“Kingdom Spouse “, much like the infamous “Prosperity gospel”, is a blend of scriptural principles, in this case for a Godly marriage found in Ephesians 5 -28:33, and the idea that faith is a self-generated spiritual force that makes things happen. Rather than the truth, that Faith is the confidence in the person of Jesus Christ.

This concept of” Kingdom spouse “has seemingly gripped many in the Christian world and taken root in many minds and hearts in such a way that it serves only to ensnare many in cycles of false hope and even to the degree of slipping into idolatry and divination.

We know hope deferred makes the heart sick (Proverbs 13:12) and this concept sets many up for years lost in heart sickness and pain.

The enemy is seen through this idea in that this ideology takes the godly gift of marriage and the love found there (a picture of how Christ loves the church) and perverts it into an entity that seeks to be idolised, pursued and fought for. Much of a person who is under this ideology is consumed with partitioning heaven and holding fast to the perceived “promise “ of a certain person as the appointed spouse. Their hope becomes reliant on the fulfilment of this narrative rather than seated in the goodness of God.

You don’t have to look hard to come across countless teachings on what to look for as signs someone might be your” kingdom spouse”, or prophetic words released on this concept declaring ‘This is the month your Kingdom spouse will arrive’. These words are targeted at the loneliness of a person whispering sweet nothings and false hopes into them until they whole heartedly partner their faith to this revelation and get lost in the sole pursuit of obtaining the object of their affection. The fervency of this pursuit isn’t so much the embodiment of love but rather the beginnings of obsession.

Strong words, yes, let me explain.

Friend, You are not created missing another half that you must find to be complete.

Psalm 16:1-2 says that “apart from you Lord, I have no good thing. “

Colossians 2:10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness.

In Christ you are made whole. Nothing else is needed.

God created marriage but He did not elevate marriage to the point of making two individuals to match perfectly. Through relationship with Him, He enables us to love each other like Christ loves the church, sacrificially – but there is no perfect match. Marriage is a blessing that is labour intensive and a character refining space.

What about that dream you had? The word you heard or were given? The confirmation you felt you received?

Well, the bible speaks on the concept of false prophecy a lot, and also admonishes us to test everything. In Matthew 13:25 we see that even the enemy is capable of sowing weeds / false seeds in us .. “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went on his way . “

It’s important to test our own heart also. Jeremiah 17:9- The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Firstly, let’s look at the foundations - Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

Before you bank on the word of a “Kingdom spouse” being for you – look to see what scripture says. Read it for yourself. James 1:25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

God in His goodness and His sovereignty has a perfect plan for you.

Ephesians 1:11 In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will,

Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

Does that mean that He has a marriage lined up for you?

Well, we need to remember that marriage is a gift not a guarantee. But also, in God's plan our choice/free will is involved. God may reveal someone to you, but you still have a choice to choose them, and they also have a choice to choose you. Think of it as though your marriage, your spouse, much like the rest of your life opportunities, career etc, as being a partnership of your free will getting in tune to the will of God and seeking Godly wisdom in your processing and pursuit of whom to marry.

God isn't limited in His resources. If whom you choose, choose someone else. God will provide. There’s always a redemption plan.

God in His sovereignty knows who is called to marriage and who He has designed for a single life, and He plans for His will to unfold.

Does this mean that prophetic word you received naming your kingdom spouse is true, no not necessarily. Like any word or revelation received, it needs to be weighed and measured.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.

Remember false words aren’t always given out of a heart to deceive, good Godly people with good intentions sometimes get it wrong.

Jeremiah 23:16 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.

😊 Friend , our God is not a God of false hope. He doesn’t give us the fortelling of gifts to come that will only serve to keep us tethered in cycles of false hope with our focus remaining on a person and not on Him.

This December we are doing a series called "Prepare Your Heart! in a new Christian Social Media Community!

Everyone knows the famous Christmas Carol – O’ Little Town of Bethlehem Bethlehem” – the lyrics were written by Phillips Brooks, an Episcopal priest, in 1868 emphasize the quiet and unassuming nature of Bethlehem, contrasting it with the momentous event of Jesus’ birth. This beautiful hymn speaks of the joy and peace brought by the arrival of the Christ child and invites the listener to welcome Jesus into their hearts.

But do you know the rest of the Christmas Story??

Join us in EagleHub to hear more of the behind the scenes and what happened in Bethlehem those 2000+ years ago!

Have a read through 2 Kings 22: 10-20
So we see that King Josiah’s high priest had discovered a long lost Book of the Law hidden in the temple and when Josiah reads it, he is overcome with grief at how far his people have strayed from their covenant obligations with Yahweh.

We see next how once he understands what has happened, he is now accountable for what he does with this knowledge and he quickly puts plans into action to right the wrongs done by his father and grandfather specifically.
We see that he first identifies with the sins committed and take this to heart in light of scripture, and then follows it with repentance as the gravity of what has been done breaks his heart. Next we see that he gathers his community to consult, repent collectively and thus move forward to renew the covenant.

Next we see that he systematically eliminates sinful practices by purging the temple of any illegitimate altars throughout the land and removing the heathen articles from the temple.
It’s interesting to see the lengths that Josiah goes in a proactive approach to eliminating the sources of sin – like removing the compromised priests from service in the temple and destroying pagan worship sites.
My favourite part of what King Josiah did next was to reinstate Passover – replacing the sin and fallen ways with an opportunity to gather together in a collective feast of celebrating the goodness of Yahweh.

How is this relevant to our lives today you might be thinking?

Well, these days our pagan practices might be more subtle but idolatry still exists – whether we worship wealth, acceptance, power, sex, security or any number of other false gods – that block us from being in a full and rewarding relationship with Papa God.

What if we choose to recognize that once we become aware of these strongholds in our lives, that we are now accountable to make a choice of what we will continue to do with this going forward.

We can follow Josiah’s example by proactively resisting the power of sin in our lives – even though we live in a compromised culture and are products of generations of sin – we have Jesus to show us that His kindess leads us to repentance and we don’t need to despair. We simply repent, remove the strongholds (like cutting up credit cards if we are a shop-a-holic, or limiting internet access etc) and then choose to put into our lives the practices of our faith and turn fully to the Lord with our entire beings– including prayer, confession, communion and celebration with a pure heart to grow in obedience and in faith.

The definition of ‘Sanctification’ is “the action of making or declaring something holy or the action or process of being freed from sin or purified”.
Our walk with Jesus after inviting Him to be our Lord and our Savior is an ongoing process that we need to submit to willingly as we grow and become more like Jesus in how we think and act and become who He created us to be.

Let’s pray….

Papa God,
I am grateful for Your living Word – that speaks to us and gives us examples of how You desire for us to walk out our journey in following Jesus. I am sorry for the ways I have disobeyed You -both knowingly and unknowingly – and I ask that You search my heart and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Make me more aware of any strongholds in my life that are preventing me from being close to You and blocking me from being who You created me to become. I want to serve You with a heart that is pure and that my day to day actions will bring glory to You – that others may be drawn into a relationship with you and that Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
In Jesus Name I pray,
AMEN

Blessings 😊,

🤗 Someone needs to hear today – Sometimes you have to let go to receive.

What are you holding onto today that has been causing feelings of frustration, overwhelm and pressure in your life? This could be something as simple as a wrong mindset, or an expectation of how a breakthrough or promise will unfold. Whatever it is, if it is causing frustration, overwhelm and pressure in your life, it is time for a shift. Meaning a “letting go” of that thing, that mindset, that expectation, so you can have room to receive God’s freedom, peace, joy and hope in that space.

Ask yourself these questions: “What is my way of thinking regarding this situation or expectation achieving? Is it making me miserable? Is it making me anxious and frustrated? Is it making me feel hopeless and wearisome?”

It the answer to any of these questions are “yes”, then it points to an area you have not fully surrendered over to the Lord. You might have said to God that you give it to Him, yet in your mind you are still “holding on” to a part of it, reasoning how it will play out or work out. Let it go completely in surrender and change your mindset, your normal way of thinking and approaching the situation, to receive new revelation and perspective from God’s throne regarding the situation and take back your peace.

Be blessed 😊

Matthew 5: 13-16 AMP

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].
14 “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Are you tuned in to hearing the voice of the Lord?

Or do you find yourself rushing through your days just to get to the end of the day and then repeat it again day after day wondering where God is in your life?

The world around us is full of distractions, chatter, noise and constant demands of our attention. We need to be purposeful in setting aside quality time with Jesus so as to not lose our 'saltiness" for as scriptures say if salt is no longer salty it is no longer good for anything!

We see since the beginning of the Old Testament that "Salt" is mentioned in preserving meat- to maintain the integrity of the food and keep it from spoiling.

We also see in the Old Testament that salt is mandatory for all offerings - I believe symbolizing the eternal and indestructible covenant God made with His people.

We also know that salt impedes the action of yeast in bread - so in Scriptures leaven (yeast) is often seen to symbolize sin and a rebellious attitude, as well as the ability to negatively affect others (Gal 5:9, 1 Cor 5).

So one could say the inclusion of this mineral, therefore, can represent the preservation and maintenance of purity in a world that can cause corruption. So when Jesus calls us (His followers) the "Salt of the Earth" we can summize that He is referring to us being called to live a life of purity and to avoid sin and rebellion, and to be confident in the covenant He has made with us. Thus, in choosing to believe in His Son Jesus, allows us to endure all things, regardless of our circumstances, knowing that this covenant is solid, unbreakable and everlasting.

Being a son or daughter of God and having your identity as a co-heir with Christ -means you are royalty and have been set apart to shine! We aren't created to sit in the shadows or just 'get by' in this journey of life on the planet but yet how can we make a kingdom impact if we aren't tuned in and thus representing God as ambassadors?
We can live this life as a tourist - just observing and not engaging or we can purposely step out and choose to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around us!

Are we so desensitized by chaos that we no longer recognize the voice of God speaking to us, prompting us, leading us.

Are we so focused on self and what we need and want and how we think we can make that happen that we forget to pause and reflect and look to Jesus for His best path for us?

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." ~ Proverbs 3:5-6 is one of my favourite all time scriptures. My grandparents had one of those old wooden plaques that hung on the wall in the dining room and I still remember reading it and being encouraged every time.

Let's pray shall we?

Daddy God, I pray for an ever increasing hunger for more of You and a desire to spend time with you in prayer and praise and worship. I want a desire for the truth of Your Word and a love for Your laws and Your ways. Teach me Lord to live by faith and to be led by the Holy Spirit - I want to be available to do and be all You have created me to be and to do. I want my choices to be a reflection of your goodness and kindness and faithfulness as I step out of my comfort zone to be Your hands and feet Jesus to those around me. I don't want to be wise in my own eyes but instead that Your holiness permeates my entire being so much that I live a life set apart for Your purposes. Help me to be focused on You all the days of my life.
In Jesus Name, AMEN.

God bless you 😊
