Our rescue puppy Chance the Chorkie greets every morning as an opportunity. And each day as he grows, so do we.

Our family of four includes my husband, son, me (Amanda), and of course, Chance.

My husband and I grew up with dogs and owned two dogs as a couple prior to rescuing Chance. Our Jack Russell Jessie was also a rescue and the reason we moved into our current home. She passed away just before the pandemic and left us with another senior dog, Rudy, a Toy Fox Terrier. Originally bred to be a show dog but born with an imperfect knee, he was no longer wanted by the breeders and so we saved him as well! Rudy died suddenly just last summer, and our hearts were broken.

Without a dog, the house just felt too empty, and in January, Chance came along to fill our home and our days with busyness and laughter!

This vlog is about our life and the growth we experience as we guide our puppy in discovering the world around him!
