DC youthSLAM
We do poetry, in all forms and ways, and organize monthly open mics and slams in and around the DC area, using poetry to teach and empower teens from the DC area to speak up about issues of social justice.
Our teams of current teenage slammers and alumni youth slam team members are available to perform, facilitate poetry workshops, and speak to/work with students of all ages. We would love to come to your school, church, business, or community group to inspire with the power of poetry.
