Mvulana Initiative is a non-governmental organization founded by a Tanzanian youth named Hussein Abdallah Mihayo. MI is headquartered in the Coast Region, Kisarawe District. Tanzania, an organization dedicated to addressing sexual violence, psychological and physical abuse against boys. The program focuses on raising awareness, educating boys and providing support to those who have experienced abuse. In addition to educating boys in self-defense, the organization also empowers families and communities with the resources they need to support these boys.

The organization aims to ensure that boys have their basic rights and the opportunity to live with dignity and respect, while also teaching them how to protect themselves and seek help when necessary.

MI, also works to challenge misconceptions and social stigma around sexual violence against boys, especially in communities where discussing such issues is often seen as taboo.
