My name is Max McCuddy. I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by boats, docks, and the people who make this industry what it is. Over the years, I noticed a major gap in our region — while there are a few agents who touch marine insurance, true marine specialists are rare.
As someone with deep roots in the maritime community and an entrepreneurial mindset, I decided to change that. After working under several commercial insurance agencies and learning the ins and outs of the industry, I founded McCuddy’s Marine Insurance — an independent agency dedicated exclusively to the marine sector. We specialize in insuring marinas, yacht clubs, tug and barge operations, yacht brokers, and shipbuilders — protecting the very businesses that keep our waterways alive. My mission is simple: to build the go-to marine insurance agency in the United States by combining industry knowledge with white-glove service.
