‘Dharatal' literally means 'the ground' or 'surface of the earth' in Hindi. This is a platform to talk about key issues of the grassroots which are lesser heard. The channel is run by Dr Shipra Mathur, a journalist/Writer with more than two decade long experience and expertise in public service/solution/transformation. Concerned about the voices from the villages, small towns and issues lesser talked but crucial for the larger interests of India, this platform is open to ideas and inputs from the responsible, rational and thoughtful citizens. Issues and People on the margin or invisible in national discourse, rural women/youth, farmers and poor class, will remain our core focus. We will not deprive our audience of global perspectives wherever needed. This channel will have strong thrust on bridging knowledge gap, with facts, version and objective views. People, Policy with Our Perspective, is all it includes.
