I was born in an era where there is no prophet, no companions, no imam. I haven't seen the past centuries nor do I have any personal experience of their events. I don't know about the towns nor understand the language of the nations that were afflicted with torment. So why is it expected of me to listen to those stories, to believe in those events that are centuries away from my time?
Did the Lord of the universe give me intellect and consciousness just to listen to stories? Or should I understand my present world, my present problems, and my present humanity to carve out a new path?
I don't need stories in the name of the past; I need light. And if that light is indeed in the past, then it shouldn't just be narrated, but shown – shown in a way that my heart sees the truth in it, not just the burden of blind faith
