Live Well Be Well with Sarah Ann Macklin

What a year for Live Well Be Well.

This year, Spotify named us one of their most talked-about shows of 2025 and one of their most shared. We landed in the top 1% of most-watched videos on the platform, and our audience expanded far beyond the UK, with a huge wave of new listeners joining us from the United States, becoming now our most listened country.

There have been countless moments over the last three years when I questioned whether I could keep going - the workload, the steep learning curve of skills I never imagined I’d need, and the realisation of who is willing to build with you when things get tough.

At the end of last year, I made a promise to myself:
Release an episode every single week, Travel further and interview the people who have inspired me for years.

I have never worked this hard on anything, and I’m grateful the results are finally showing. Nothing meaningful is built in short bursts — it comes from long stretches of unglamorous persistence. Most people don’t see that part, but it’s where the real transformation happens.

The growth this year has been the most meaningful reward, not just in numbers, but in the messages, the conversations, and the people who say the show helped them understand their health, their mind, or themselves a little better.

Thank you to everyone who listened, shared, supported, and believed in what we’re building. 2026… we’re just getting started.

😎My Top 10 Insights to Transform Your Well-Being in 2024 | Nutrition, Friendship & Science of Compassion

I can hardly believe we’re nearing the end of another year. 2024 has been an incredible journey for Live Well Be Well, and I owe so much of its success to you—thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this community.

This year, I made a pact to give everything I had to the show. To dive in headfirst, embrace the process, and grow alongside it. Looking back, it’s been a journey filled with personal growth, unexpected lessons, and many meaningful moments.

The conversations we’ve had on the show this year have truly changed me. They’ve helped me grow as a person, and I hope they’ve had a positive impact on you too.

As we approach the end of the year, I’ve been reflecting on some of the insights that resonated with me most and have released my first solo episodes.

Have you seen this week's episode with ‪@DrStacySims‬

“51% of the population are women, yet so much health and fitness science is tailored to men."

Something to think about: The standard model of health advice often excludes the unique needs of women. It's time to challenge outdated paradigms and advocate for research that centres women's physiology and health.

I watched the new Will & Harper documentary last weekend and this line really hit me:

"I'm not afraid of hating these people – I'm afraid of hating myself."

— Harper

We don’t hate others—we hate the parts of ourselves we think no one will accept.
