I am very excited to announce that my husband and I are expecting a baby girl this fall! So far pregnancy has really kicked my butt, which is why I’ve had basically no online presence since the start of 2024. Although big changes are happening in my life and I will not have as much time to devote to my dolls and art as I did before, I am looking forward to continuing my journey as an artist and a doll seamstress in different ways. I don’t know exactly what that will look like just yet, but I’m excited to find out!

I put together this moodboard in order to help me plan my redesign of the Doll Fairy character and get a feel for the direction I wanted to go for my new branding. I asked you all for your input a couple of months ago to help me define what makes The Doll Fairy unique. I recorded and boiled down all of your suggestions into the inspiration words you see on the board, and translated that into images that I felt would best represent the brand in terms of what people tend to think of—and what I want to be associated with moving forward. Simply put, it’s just “a few of my favorite things,” but it really helped me throughout the process of creating a new look.


The Doll Fairy’s brand-new look will be revealed in a doll customizing video on Friday, April 14th at 4pm EST, so be sure not to miss it! (Patrons with early access get to see the video on Wednesday)

Since I am getting married later this spring and I’m well into the all-consuming process of wedding planning, the theme for my fourth Patron-Exclusive Collab will be weddings!


This theme is very broad and could include many different things, like dolls based on famous bride/groom characters, designing fancy wedding apparel, horror-themed bridal characters, like the Corpse Bride, imagining what an inter-galactic alien wedding might look like, or making dolls based on wedding traditions or traditional garb in different cultures from around the world. Plus at the same time, I’ll be working on making dolls of me and my fiancé for our wedding, haha!


In Patron Collabs, members of The Doll Fairy Patreon community make custom dolls based on this theme, and everyone’s work will be featured in a special showcase video that will be shared with the Doll Fairy YouTube audience!


**In order to join, you must be a member of The Doll Fairy Patreon at the $3/month level or above.**


The deadline for patrons to submit their completed doll photos to be included in my video will be Friday, June 3rd at midnight EST.
