Hey everyone, it’s been a while! Last fall, I gave birth to a sweet baby girl. Becoming a parent has changed my life completely! Taking care of my daughter, even with a great support system, requires me to give my everything, every day. It’s exhausting, but worth it! My husband and I are so in love with our little girl, who is already so curious, loving, and endlessly entertaining. I can’t wait to share my love of dolls and art with her.
As you can see from my lack of content over the last year and a half, I have not been able to do any of my creative work since the start of 2024. I miss creating art projects, sewing, and interacting with you all. But with different priorities now, I feel less inclined to put myself out there on social media, which is why it’s taken me this long to make a post at all. I also wasn’t sure what navigating this season of my life would look like, and I was hopeful I’d be able to keep creating and sharing in some capacity.
At this point in time, my top priority is taking care of my family, and I need to continue to focus solely on that for the time being. Hopefully in time, I’ll find a rhythm and the mental space to return to making content as The Doll Fairy. For now, my hiatus will continue for a while.
I also want to go back to sewing doll clothing eventually, but for now, checkout on thedollfairy.com is paused until that is feasible.
Creativity is a crucial part of what makes me who I am, and I continue to dream of new ways I can use my imagination to create art, whether that’s through dolls, sewing, drawing, designing, or even writing, jewelry-making, or creating simple crafts. I have never stopped being in a creative mindset and planning future projects—they just may look different from those I’ve done in the past. I am confident that I will return to this channel at some point in time to share some of those projects that I hope someday to bring to fruition.
Until then, thank you so much for all of your well-wishes, your encouragement, and your support over the years, and thank you so much for sticking with me this long! While creating videos is a bit out of reach right now, maybe I will be able to share some random creations on Instagram and Patreon, if you follow me there.
I hope to see you again in the future for more doll magic <3
