4TB drive contents is on NAS.

Hard drive swap complete! That was a 5 minute job. Easier than I thought.

The “burned” 8TB is now mounted and I’m ready to start transferring the files to the NAS.

And yes, as suggested, I’m going to use the spare 12TB drive as backup. Update it a couple times a month and keep in a fire safe. And will set up an offsite backup after that.

Wow! I hit 300 YouTube uploads with yesterday’s video. And I’m about 25 subscribers shy of 39K. Thank you to all of you who watch and comment on my videos, and support me financially with Supers, Coffees, and PayPal donations. You’re very generous and kind. This community keeps me going, keeps my skills up, makes me think, and gives me lots of joy. It’s hard work though, and some days I want to quit. But a lovely comment from one of you changes all that!

I started this YouTube channel about 15 years ago to give my beginner photography and Photoshop college students some content to review in between classes. Most of my students were young women at the time. But over the years the demographic on my channel has shifted to include mostly men over age 45, with the largest portion being over 65! And, I now have less than 2% female audience here. Weird, eh? Anyhow, just thought you might be interested in those stats.

Finally, I want to wish a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Americans who hang out here. Things are tough for many of you these days, and I hope things improve for you soon.
