We offer a unique physical education curriculum that integrates with the classroom curriculum. By integrating classroom themes with PE games, we accomplish several things. First, we have one of the most authentic PE programs in Montessori education because the PE lessons are derived directly from classroom lessons and materials. Second, the student's learning of classroom content is enhanced through the repetition of vocabulary as well as the unique mechanic of "learning through play," which could be even more beneficial for kinesthetic learners. Thirdly, the students don't see PE as just another play or recess time but as a legitimate co-curricular that allows delving deeper into classroom material, especially when we play indigenous sports to support culture studies. Finally, the through-line between our PE and sports programs is the understanding of sportsmanship, which is directly related to SEL competencies.

We hit a giant benchmark this past week with our five thousandth download! As I looked through the analytics, I thought turning some of the information into word clouds would be cool. I made three different word clouds: cities, states, and countries. On the countries' word cloud, I did not include the United States because many downloads are from the U.S. However, Canada was not too far behind; they are heavily represented in the country's word cloud. Both India and the U.K. are well represented, too.
It's inspiring to see the diverse locations our supporters come from. I'm deeply moved by Montessori Physical Education's extensive reach across the United States and globally. I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Your support and dedication to downloading our lessons and giving them inspires me to work and create every day.
