Rufai Ajala is film maker specialised in the art of cinematography, working with clients such as Paul Smith, VOGUE, i-D Magazine, NOWNESS and others.
Educated at the Arts University of Bournemouth, under the training and tutelage of Witold Stok(BSC)
He is also an educator. Having worked with the Prince's Trust, BBC Blast, Eventful Workshops, and The Accra Street Academy.
His longest working relationship has been with director/fashion photographer George Harvey.
Mentored by Simon Foxton, his research interests and self made work focuses and revolves around the idea of cultural - political norms and subverting those ideas, as well as; focusing stories and narratives on sexuality and QTIPOC (Queer, Trans, Intersex People of Colour) folk and centring those narratives.
