The Greek word for Wisdom is sophia.

It's profound because we can achieve clarity in our finances through wisdom. While others hock the latest "thing" - a financial instrument, strategy, currency or arbitrage gizmo - my focus will always be on foundational principles we can rely on in any decision or situation we face. That's easier said (or typed) than done. But why?

Through generations of indoctrination and the ever-present encouragement to abandon our own decision-making capability in favor of "expert" advice, the overwhelming majority of us have been reduced to a state of ignorance in personal finance - and I say that intentionally as I'm only now starting to get clarity after decades of following the herd.
