Taksirat Festival
Taksirat is a unique festival, held since 1999, and since then has an extremely important role in building a "new" and better Skopje through various aspects and approaches to the counterculture. It is the biggest festival in Macedonia and the only winter music festival in South-Eastern Europe.
Throughout the years, a lot of eminent domestic & foreign artists have performed here: Manu Chao, Kaiser Chiefs, The Roots, Chase & Status, Dubioza Kolektiv, Jean Michel Jarre, Goldie, Parov Stelar, Tricky, Juliette Lewis, Guano Apes, Laibach, Nouvelle Vague, Wailers, Sabaton, Kreator, Iggy Pop & the Stooges, Buzzcocks, Marky Ramone, Fun Loving Criminals, Atari Teenage Riot, Mando Diao, Arhangel, Anastasija, Mizar, Bernays Propaganda, Amorphis, Roy Paci & Aretuska, Transglobal Underground, Kraftwerk, Toy Dolls, GBH, Exploited, Sven Vath, B- Real, Kiril Djaikovski, Molcat Doma, Therapy, Laibach, La Pegatina, 2 Chellos, Tanya Stevens, Gentleman, DJ Premier, Guano Apes, Onyx, and many others.
