KAK Art & Designs | Katherine Klimitas

I’m Katherine Klimitas—disabled artist, speaker, author, and graphic designer.

I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, better known as Brittle Bone Disease. I get around in an electric wheelchair. I’m 2 feet, 7 inches tall. And by age 10, I had broken 500+ bones.

But that was never going to stop me.

I started KAK Art & Designs during my senior year at Loyola University. Since 2011, my work has evolved, but my focus remains the same: expanding my reach as a disabled watercolor artist and motivating others to contribute to their communities.

On this channel, I’m sharing everything I do—painting, jewelry, pet portraits, graphic design, and public speaking.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple. I want my work to bring people joy in a world that is full of angst and anger.
