Hi, I'm Dyst, and I'm an unhinged maniac who sucks at uploading consistently and makes content that appeals to almost no one other than my autistic self! I'm an (amateur) artist, animator, writer, and voice actor. I've been making videos here for over a decade now. If you're subscribed to this channel and don't recall ever subscribing to me, my name used to be "King of the Object Shows!", and I used to post entirely different content, very little of which is still up today. Nowadays, I primarily post about object shows and other random stuff I like (or dislike). I hope you enjoy the stuff I put out, but if you don't, that's okay too.

Hey, guys. This is a statement I've been meaning to make for a while, but I've recently been informed that YouTube is slowly reimplementing DMs as a feature, so I figure it's as important as ever that I say this now. Please don't vent to me or ask me for advice about your personal problems. DO NOT feel bad if you've done so before. This post isn't meant to call out or criticize anyone. This is something I've been okay with in the past, and I appreciate it if you trust me enough to confide in me, but I've never been good at consolation or giving advice, and people needing me to do just that kinda puts me on the spot and puts a lot of pressure on me to do something really can't do well, and that in turn stresses me out, which combined with my already not great mental health, isn't a healthy mix. Believe me, I completely understand the need for someone to be there for you during your low points. I've been there before, and there are healthy ways of venting to people who are better at and more comfortable with giving consolation and advice. I'm just sorry I can't be that person anymore (not that I was really ever good at being that person in the first place). I'm just some guy on the internet who likes making cartoons and occasionally making friends along the way, even if I'm not the kind of friend who you can really come to with your problems.
This ISN'T to say I'm just completely unwilling to support you in general if you're going through mental health issues. If I know you're going through something, I have been and will always be okay with showing you support if I have any worthwhile input, but I ask that you please don't see that as an invitation to start venting to me or asking for advice. Again, I'm very sorry that I can't be someone you can come to with your problems, but I'm just not comfortable with it anymore. Thank you.

Hello, everyone. As you've likely noticed, ICUP's production has barely progressed since ICUP 1's completion, which is especially obvious now that ICUP 2 has taken longer to write than ICUP 1 took to produce. A lot of you are likely also aware that many factors in my life have prevented me from working on it, so this wasn't entirely my fault. But even now that most of these factors are no longer relevant, and there's not much preventing me from working on the show again, I've found that I've just lost a lot of the motivation I originally had going into ICUP 1.
No, this isn't going where you think it is, ICUP isn't cancelled. It's just going on indefinite hiatus. This isn't an instance where I just might never work on it again either. I'm very stubborn and refuse to let this show die. The show WILL come back someday, and it'll be far better than what ICUP 1 had to offer. I just don't know when that'll be.
In the meantime, I'll be going back to this channel's roots making short skits and parodies. I'm actually already working on one right now, so stay tuned for that. I have the most fun making that kind of content, and I haven't really made anything like that in over a year, so hopefully you're excited for that. I know I am.
