Colonel Nashid A. Salahuddin is the Director of Air National Guard Human Resources at Joint Base Andrews. With a career spanning three decades, he has held leadership roles across personnel, recruiting, retention, and strategic planning, including key assignments at the Pentagon and a deployment to Iraq as Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Interior. A seasoned commander and strategist, he has earned the Legion of Merit and six Meritorious Service Medals. Col. Salahuddin holds degrees from Southern Illinois University and NJIT, along with executive education from Harvard and the National War College. His leadership continues to shape the ANG’s mission and people.
