Back 2 Homesteading Off Grid

The journey has been long. We went from our Off Grid homestead in the rural Idaho mountains to being nomadic full time RVer's for several years. Now the time has come that we can retire. We are poor and must live on only our meager SS income. With this in mind, we purchased land in my home state of Arizona. It was cheap because it was pretty remote and in the county we felt best fit our needs. Namely, we wanted to live in our RV. We may or may not build and that should be our decision. I do know that with limited income, we have bare sand to deal with. This will document our journey back into the realm of a self sufficient lifestyle. We will design and build our own infrastructure, just as we did before. We will meet the challenges of the lack of water in our climate while we design and build our gardens and bearing trees. We will build, likely " in the round" The winds are ferocious out here and a Dome style buildings just make sense. Join us on our journey!
