I’m DJEFF, a DJ and producer born in Lisbon with Angolan and Cape Verdean roots. My sound connects African rhythm with forward-thinking electronic music and house. I founded Kazukuta Records to create space for new voices and released my debut album Malembe Malembe in 2011.
Over the years I’ve shared music on labels like Spinnin’ Deep, Watergate, Deeproot and MoBlack, with support from artists including Pete Tong, Black Coffee and Keinemusik. I’ve had the chance to play at places like Tomorrowland, Hï Ibiza, Fabric London and Savaya Bali.
I closed 2025 with my Lost Tapes EP and a sold-out edition of my event concept Odyssey in Luanda. Right now I’m working on my next project.
