The Judge just denied Scott Stark his continuance in Levy County in our case of the Thumbnail 4 for tomorrow (where I am a defendant). Although the case is officially dismissed, we still have an outstanding Motion for Sanctions against Stark (read: Deuce). Stark cited additional health issues so the judge allowed him to appear via zoom. The Judge further Ordered Stark to provide medical documentation proof of his condition. I will be present for the court hearing via zoom. I cannot wait!

I think Deuce is going to go back to Armenia. He concludes the article with, "In no time after arriving in Tbilisi, Georgia, for a vacation at the Black Sea, and then in Yerevan, Armenia, my despair evaporated. Those who’ve wronged me and my clients — and they know who they are — cannot take away the happiness I’ve found here, although geography won’t prevent powerful people who’re 'in charge of' the profession from harming me with monetary sanctions, phony disciplinary investigations [he was investigated even before 2013(!!)], and unsigned editorials designed to tarnish my reputation (all of which have occurred in the past). But I can look each of them in the eye and say with certainty that I haven’t the littlest thing to be ashamed of in how I’ve fulfilled my responsibilities as a lawyer [oh, really?! I am writing this in the midst of apple, plum and walnut trees at my in-laws’ summer country house, at peace I haven’t felt in many years, thanks to my choice for a new life in another place and my amazing wife who made it possible. The leaf I’ve turned over is a new attitude, disposition and outlook ... but not new ideals. And here, in Armenia, I’ve stopped biting my fingernails."
