Born in Cuba, he leaves the country in 1999 and settles in Montreal with his father. 4 years later, he returns to live with his mother in Cuba. Finally in 2007, he returns to Canada for good. Having little to do and basketball as his only hobby, he decides to get into dance. He starts of learning by imitating movements he catches here and there on television. One day he visits a dance studio located near his house and starts to meet dancers from the local scene. He tries out Popping, House and Hip hop but Bboying stands out as his favourite and it ends up becoming his passion.
