Here are my short, original-content, ad-free videos and slideshows of natural history subjects with brief written explanations and/or identifications of things. The emphasis is on fish, marine biology, and fossils from the west coast of North America -- but also includes things from travels and Peace Corps days in Mali, West Africa.

I try to photograph natural things when something illustrative or unusual is happening, or to provide a catalog of what is present at a time/location.

I try to identify things using multiple sources, but sometimes even when I'm certain, I've been careless and I'm wrong. So thanks for any help.
