Hello Friends. My name is Bill (WD) Thompson and I live along the gulf coast of the southeastern USA. This is a painting demonstration channel and is part "how to" and part entertainment. If you are an artist either beginner and pro I hope you gain a bit more painting knowledge from my approach to painting. If you just enjoy watching a painting grow from a blank canvas to a finished painting I hope you will be entertained.
I've been painting for over 25 years. I mainly use brush and palette knife but also paint with a paper towel or fingers. I love pushing paint around, blending color on canvas and creating texture. For a number of years I participated in outdoor art festivals and met many wonderful customers, gallery owners and artists who encouraged me to continue my art career. Later I moved to gallery representation and teaching workshops. Most students are eager to see the demonstration each day and often asked me to post a few demonstration videos. Hope you enjoy.
