Jahhira Tisa Brown, known professionally as Tisa Reign, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in New York, she moved to the Caribbean at age 2 and gravitated towards music to overcome a difficult childhood. She often describes her songwriting as a journey of past, present, and future which represents where she has been, what she is doing, and where she is going. The genre she is known for is alternative rap, which unlike traditional hip-hop, infuses the genre into afrobeats, pop, reggae, and other popular sounds. She has released countless singles and most recently debuted her EP, Reign or Shine which has expanded her fan base globally capturing the attention of a few influential hitmakers in the industry.
