SHEMOT 3:13-15
13. Moses said to El Shaddai, “When I come to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The El Shaddai of your fathers’ [house] has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is [El Shaddai] name?’ what shall I say to them?”
14. And El Shaddai said to Moses, “Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh,” continuing, “Thus shall you say to the Israelites, ‘Ehyeh sent me to you.’”
15. And El Shaddai said further to Moses, “Thus shall you speak to the Israelites: Ehyeh, the El Shaddai of your fathers’ [house]—the El Shaddai of Abraham, the El Shaddai of Isaac, and the El Shaddai of Jacob—has sent me to you:
This shall be My name forever,
This My appellation for all eternity.
SHEMOT 6:2-3
2. El Shaddai spoke to Moses and said to him, “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh.
4. I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as El Shaddai, but I did not make Myself known to them by My name Ehyeh.
