DoobieSound hails from the city of Uppsala, Sweden..Inspired by singers like Don Carlos, Iqulah, Joseph Hill and Michael Rose, and also by modern roots recordings of artists like Lutan Fyah, Jah Mason and Capleton.
The absolute majority of Doobie's productions are strikkly digital, but most of the rhythms still have a 70s or early 80s feel. It is modern roots, but it is firmly rooted in the classic reggae sound.
