🚨 REQUEST A VIDEO! 🚨
Hey everyone! I am planning fall videos all the way through the rest of the year and wanted to reach out to see if any of you have specific video requests. I'll try my best to work your requests into what I already have scheduled.
So far my two biggest requests are:
- How to Build a Fall Wardrobe with Basics
- Dressing for Different Body Proportions (this might have to be a series)
I've also read a few requests about accessories & jewelry but wanted to gauge your interest so I know which videos and topics to prioritize.
*One question I have for long time subscribers (and new ones!): Do you still want to see lifestyle vlogs? Let me know!*
ALSO! I'm in the process of hiring a video editor so that I can be way more consistent with uploads. It's been just me since I first started uploading vids in 2016 and I've been at a place in my career where I just don't have the bandwidth to do it all myself. Perfectionism is such a creativity killer and I'm learning how to finally let go of control. It's a process 😅
Side note: we're almost at 600k! 😳 That's nuts. I am so grateful for all your support and I hope to continue to provide meaningful and valuable content ♡

Hi everyone! Finally found some time to link everything in the description box. As always, if I couldn't find the exact piece then I linked something similar. I also tried my hardest to find similar styles with similar quality at more affordable prices for the some of the more expensive pieces featured in the video. I'm SO happy that you guys are enjoying this video—it's motivating me to continue creating analytical fashion videos!

Hey y’all! So sorry I’ve been a bit inconsistent with my upload schedule lately—I got bronchitis, a cold, and COVID all within the past month & a half and today is the first day that I’m feeling somewhat back to normal LOL
I’ve got a skincare video coming this Friday and the vlogs will continue now that I’m feeling better! ❤️

how do we determine what is cultural appropriation vs. appreciation and who determines that?
this is a topic that i've been wanting to explore for FOREVER. convos about cultural appropriation online often lack nuance because they're restricted by character limits & no one really wants to sit down in front of their phone and spend hours having a nuanced conversation.
on top of that, 'cultural appropriation' was a concept that was conceived in academia in the 80s/90s, and only more recently hit the mainstream within the past decade. as a result, the general public's usage of the term is often removed from its original context.
my youtube originals show TRACING THE TREND just debuted as part of Bear Witness, Take Action 3. in this episode, we explore how hip hop has influenced asian youth worldwide and what constitutes as appropriation vs appreciation with fellow black/filipino rapper guapdad 4000, the first asian woman in hip hop who managed members of wu tang sophia chang, and the first african-american editor of billboard magazine danyel smith
of course, this episode is just the tip of the ice berg as elements of asian cultures have also been appropriated in the west, even in hip hop. the conversation continues!
watch now 🤍

Hi everyone! :) I just uploaded an introduction to a six-episode series that I'll be doing on my channel in collaboration with an Asian-American female owned streetwear brand called Uprisers. As many of you may know, a lot of my work online is dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices and advancing social change. This series is a collaborative piece of work that totally aligns with that, and I'm really excited to share this passion project with you all.
I will still be posting my regular content alongside this series, so don't fret! You'll get your regularly schedule programming as well haha. Thank you all for your support! 🤍
