I am a wife married to the same person for decades, a mother having raised two daughters one with autism, so I’m also an Autism Mom. Just call me Nanny as I am a grandparent which is one of my favorite roles of all. I have a 92 year old elderly parent who currently needs a lot of help, but is still a spitfire! My career as an educator in an elementary school was challenging at times but the positive outweighed the negative.
