Hello my Youtube Community Tab!! How is everyone??
A question some of you are asking is WHEN the part two of the Q and A will be available? Here's why it's taking forever: The clips of that video I recorded are on my old computer, and the more time that goes by, the more I'm thinking the answers to those questions might have changed, and it's an endless loop. So I figured in honour of my channel turning 5 years old a few months ago, I would revive the Q and A idea.
If you have any questions you want me to answer, type them here (or re type them if you didn't get an answer last time). Questions of any kind! Last time I got over 100, so I may not get around to every single one.
If you want a GUARANTEED answer just shoot me a chat here:

Also I was on a podcast recently so that may answer questions even as well:
If you are a fan of any of my jazzier things, I have a show coming up THIS SUNDAY early evening at The Emmet Ray where I and some of my lovely musician friends will be playing standards for a couple hours. Come by if you can make it - I love meeting yall!
I'm writing a song called "Two Weeks in July" - the one I posted a small clip of on Youtube Shorts and Tiktok.
The reason it's not fully on youtube yet is because I'm still not 100% happy with it lol. If you want to listen to the demo in its entirety though, it is up on patreon for your perusal.
A list of originals I've recently written / am writing:
Returning to the Start Two Weeks in July Midnight April's Epilogue
Just putting those titles into the universe so that I really do end up finishing and posting them. I've played most of them at my shows in Toronto! If I have another show coming up, will keep yall posted, I always love meeting people in person.
I am taking a small break post-EP from music to do some theatery - related things these days...
HOWEVER! I'll be done for the most part mid-april and we will be back to our regularly scheduled programming.
The next cover will be "Dandelions" by Ruth B. due to popular demand and also for some other special reasons...
I'm applying for a program that combines theatre and musical storytelling (that is not musical theatre), and made a video application yall may find interesting?? It's basically about my discoveries in the last few years from connecting music and acting together. It's up on patreon if anyone is interested!
For those of you asking for things on streaming services, here we have Bluetown, 202020, Come of Age, the cover Fly me To the Moon, and Silver Seeker (which I hadn't put on youtube yet).
I'm so excited to share this with you all. I hope you like the production quality - better than my usual stuff. I'm thinking of making a short video for each song, as well as at some point to make a video on the process of the EP as a whole. When I get some time! Now that the EP is pretty much done and same with my music schooling, I am in three plays right now.
I posted about the live show(!) of my EP on my instagram @/lucellis - there's a little video of the live performance on there too ;)
DEBUT EP!! I am so excited to share this with you all!! It will be out everywhere March 7th at Midnight!
Here are the songs that will be on it.
202020 Isabelle Fly me To the Moon Silver Seeker Come of Age Bluetown
Also, if you're in Toronto or willing to come to Toronto - I have a show March 6th where you can hear it all early. Here's the ticket link :) I love meeting you all so it would be great to have you there!
I think I'll make a video about the process of making it at some point before the release. I'm not sure if I can get the concert livestreamed but I'll try!
If you want to support me in another way, patreon is the way! I will be posting some weekly updates of music artist life as well hopefully getting a monthly livestream going.
So if you've ever wanted to personally message me, vote on what cover I should do, learn about the process of Youtube Channel, or get early access to originals/covers or work in progress songs that may or may not go anywhere, now is the chance :)
Having y'all watch my videos is already more than enough - but the financial support to help me continuing to make cool projects out of my ideas (like the 202020 vid), it would be so so greatly appreciated. No worries either way ;)
Also ! Thanks for everyone who came out to my Toronto show the other night - it was amazing to meet some of you Canadians in person finally. The show ended up being a bit chaotic in the beginning, but as soon as we got to the music you all were fantastic - and so were the other artists that went after me.
Anyway. Check out the Patreon! Thank you for all the support on the 202020 vid! And see u soon!
For those saying they missed the previous show - I have another coming up tomorrow night opening for Christina Kennedy at Duffy's Tavern in Toronto (west end!)
I love being able to meet yall in person so come by and say hi and hear some of the originals I've been working on :)
You can pay at the door $20, doors open at 7:30pm tomorrow (Fri Jan 26)
Here's something I wrote on my instagram - I'll put it here too in case you folks didn't see it there. Just a little bit about the song
I began writing parts of this song in the spring of 2021, after a moment when I realized I didn’t know exactly what I had to offer the world. I was asking myself - should I even pursue a career in the arts if I’m not sure? I felt like I was running out of time to prove myself.
I think the relationship we have with ourselves is often overlooked.
It can be easy to say unkind things to yourself and excusing it because you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of perpetual “self-improvement.”
This song reflects how I saw myself during those times - less as a human being and more as an amalgamation of faults to be worked on. So it was no wonder when I looked in the mirror I didn’t see a friendly face.
This is a song that was written with those feelings in mind. It was also one of the first originals I posted to YouTube :)
I honestly don't think I'd have gone through with it if I didn't get so much support when I initially posted it on youtube. - > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_K9sQ...
But you were all sharing your own personal stories, saying that the lyrics spoke to you, and it made me want to make a released song out of it. Thank you so much again, and enjoy!
