Hello fellow jazz fans! Having been born and raised in the midwest, a number of these tunes are from musicians who have performed in the area. Along with that, I've attempted to present some music not heard elsewhere, such as the McCoy Tyner piece from a radio broadcast in the late 1980's (a personal favorite). Other selections are tunes I've listened to and come back to time and time again. They are culled from over 45 yrs of listening to jazz, with obvious leanings towards the most mysterious of instruments, the guitar. I gain no monetary benefit from these videos whatsoever.
