This channel is for my weekly update videos documenting my journey back to a healthier weight. I started this series because before the pandemic, I lost 25 kilo (55 pounds) through regular walks, some biking and by "watching my weight", but the isolation has made me gain those kilo back ... and an additional 10 kilo (22 pounds) on top of that. Overall I gained 35 kilo (77 pounds) in lockdown.
That is when I decided that enough is enough and started to have walks again and to watch my diet. To keep me honest - and to keep me going - I decided to share my voyage in a weekly video. Those were also supposed to help me upping my video editing game and to raise my confidence in talking unscripted on camera.
I originally uploaded the videos to my main channel, but as this seems to confuse YouTube's referral system even more (I have a wild mix of different content on that channel, even in two different languages, which doesn't help), I decided to move my series to this dedicated channel.

Sitting in a movie theatre for most of last week (alongside some movie-appropriate snacks) didn't really translate into weight-loss - go figure (in more than one sense). For some reason, though, my body fat went down, the muscle mass up - while the visceral fat got up. It just goes to show that those other values can never be fully trusted. Anyway, here is my data:
- Weight from 115.3 kilo to 117.4 kilo (in pound: 254.2 to 258.8)
- BMI from 33.3 to 33.9
- Body Fat from 36.0 to 35.7
- Muscle Mass from 28.4 to 28.6
- Visceral Fat from 17 to 18

I was so lazy in April, I didn't even manage to share my weekly Community Post. Therefore, alongside my month video that I linked here, I am sharing my overall results for the past weeks.
- Weight from 114.9 kilo to 115.9, then to 115.5 kilo, 115.7 kilo and finally to 115.3 kilo (in pounds: 253.3, 255.5, 254.6, 255.1, 254.2)
- BMI from 33.2 to 33.5, 33.4 and 33.4 and finally to 33.3
- Body Fat from 36.0 to 36.4, 36.7, 36.7 and then back to 36.0
- Muscle Mass from 28.4 to 28.2, 28.0, 28.0 and finally back to 28.4
- Visceral Fat from 17 to 18, 18, then back down to 17 and ended up t 17

- Weight from 114.0 kilo to 113.8 and then to 113.6 kilo (251.3 pound to 250.9 pound to 250.4 pound)

- Body Fat from 35.8 to 36.3 to 36.4
- Muscle Mass from 28.5 to 28.2 to 28.1
- Visceral Fat stayed at 17 the whole time
