Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium
RAMA - The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg, Denmark (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium) - is a state institution under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Culture, charged with responsibility for the further education courses in music, and for otherwise contributing to the promotion of musical culture in Denmark.
The programmes measure up to the best comparable courses on offer abroad. We train students for careers as professional musicians, and, depending on the course taken, students graduate either as solo performers or as music teachers.
Our corps of teachers is active and committed, and we expect our students to exhibit the same qualities.
Concert activities at The Royal Academy of Music spans widely – from small practice concerts in the academy classrooms i both Aarhus and Aalborg over larger concerts on the stages of Musikhuset Aarhus and Musikkens Hus, Aalborg.
