I am Ayanna Naeela. I am a singer, a songwriter, musician and a teacher of the performing arts. I am a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother.
After 30 years of keeping my hair 'natural' since birth, I used this channel to connect with other women in the black, natural hair community to find best practices for keeping my hair natural and healthy. Through that process, I learned to embrace who I am all over again. Now I want to explore other things that inspire me.
It has been 13+ years that I have been a music teacher, and over the years I devoted so much time to teaching children music I hardly had time to do music for myself!!! So that's what I'm doing now... FINALLY!!
Covid-19 makes it terribly difficult for musicians to perform live and in person. I am very grateful to have a place to share my voice and my passion for music and various art forms virtually with all of you.
