Established in 1950, World Vision (WV) is an international Christian humanitarian organisation, dedicated to working with children, families and their communities to overcome poverty and injustice. The global WV partnership has approximately 40,000 staff in nearly 100 countries. WV assists around 100 million people globally regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. World Vision works in partnership with local civic actors and government to foster accountability and promote long-term sustainability
World Vision Vanuatu works with communities to help eliminate poverty and its causes. We opened our office in Vanuatu in the early 1980s and started education, training and income generating projects. We now work in the four provinces of Tafea, Sanma, Efate and Penama.
Our projects have expanded to include water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), agriculture, economic development, education, early childhood development and disaster risk reduction and preparedness.
