kofi Nyiwae Nketsiah known professionally as Kofi Chemist, is a Ghanaian  Singer and Songwriter.

A prominent figure in the modern day Hiplife, Afrobeats and Hip-hop music scenes. Kofi chemist is regarded as one of the most uprising and influential African artiste.

He began recording at the age of 16 and released a collaborative  Album with YOUNG SQUAD ENERGY (YSE), a group of Three including him and friends formed.

From 2017- 2019 the group was nominated Twice for the Western Music Awards (WMA).
